The memphis design collective
Ettore Sotssas, the pioneering postmodern Italian architect and designer who founded the influential Memphis movement. His expansive work and a progressive spirit embraced vibrant colors, geometric patterns that shook the 1980’s design community.
how it started
Lauded for his radical and forward thinking etiquette, Inversa was inspired by his vision and “raises a glass” to Mr. Sottsass’ infused vitality and unpretentious sense of playfulness with Italian design.
In our quest to echo Mr. Sottsass' spirit, Inversa’s design is an homage to the playful charm embodied by the Memphis design concept.
how its going
Memphis offered a very Italian and universally approachable way for Inversa to present itself. A concept that could accompany you on any experience life may present to you.
And thus, Inversa’s vision of “Playful Elegance” came to life.
